Amber Care

Amber Care is a care provider based in Market Rasen. Our aim is to support your personal, Health and Social care needs in your own home. This service is delivered by a dedicated vetted local team 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We pride ourselves in our staff and their training which enables them to provide high quality services which supports the service user and their families. All of the team have experience and the knowledge required to provide care and support for end of life services should this be required.  

 

At Amber Care we use individual care plans with planned visits, however we use the time of visits as guides and recognise that on occasion’s service users may need additional support and our ethos is that the visit may be extended until appropriate to leave.

It should support individuals to promote and manage their own health. Amber care services will reflect, and should be coordinated around and tailored to, the needs and preferences of patients, their families and their carers.

 

We will assess the clients holistically to support them to live in their own homes following an agreed care plan and assessment tool which supports the activities of daily living.
 

We will always respect the individuality of clients, whilst promoting their independence, dignity and safety.

 

We will always respect their privacy, personal choices, lifestyles, customs, cultures and values.

 

We will respond in a timely manner to any concerns/complaints.  Embedding into Amber Care a culture of reflection and learning opportunities. 

Our Staff

The staff employed by Amber Care will have a wide-ranging background of experience and skills and qualifications including NVQ3, NVQ2. As well as Care staff there is a coordinators administrative post based in the office in King Street who may communicate with service users on the telephone.

 

Staff employed by Amber Care will be offered posts subject to a fit medical statement, a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure check, and 2 satisfactory references (one being their current or most recent employer). Referees will be asked to comment about their suitability to work with domiciliary care service users.
